As a client on Press Loft, you have the ability to group your images into various Collections. Collections are a great way to showcase particular images in groups on the front end for journalists; particularly nifty if there's a new, seasonal collection you are promoting, or if you have launched a new range that you'd like everyone to see as soon as they access your profile.

This is how they appear on your Branded Press Office:

and in your main Image Library on Press Loft:

Images in a collection will still be listed in your main Image Library, this is just a helpful way to showcase them in a group.

They also are useful for your own management on the backend, so if you know a particular collection is no longer for sale or prices have changed you can select to view and edit that particular collection in your backend.

When you go to your Image Library backend, you'll see a button for "My Collections" in the library dropdown:

Here, simply hit Create Collection and put in a title and a description. You can also select a header image that will show on the collections page on the front end.

Don't forget to publish the collection if you'd like it to be visible for journalists:

Adding images to a collection

There are 2 ways you can add images to a collection.

Either hit the Add images to collection button on the collection editor (see above) and add images from the library pop up on the right hand side of your screen one by one:

Or when in your image library backend, simply right click on an image that you'd like to add and click "Add to collection"

If you already have more than one collection saved on your account, this will open a dropdown with all collections. Select the one you'd like to add the image to and you're done!

Removing images from a collection

You can remove an image from a collection by selecting the image in the collections tool too. This will remove the image from the collection but it won't delete the images from Press Loft.
