Clearing your browser cache & cookies

If your Press Loft account is acting up, clearing the cookies and resetting the cache can sometimes help. So we've put together this handy little guide to help you depending on the kind of browser you're using.

Clearing your cache

Clearing your browser's cache makes sure that all recent changes to web pages show correctly in your browser. Each browser handles caching a little differently so be sure to follow the instructions specific to your browser.

What browser do you use?

Clearing your cache in Internet Explorer:

  1. In the browser's main menu go to: Internet Options > General > Browsing History > Delete

  2. From this window delete the Temporary Internet Files

  3. Close this window and click OK before leaving the browser

Clearing your cache in Google Chrome:

  1. In the browser's main menu go to Settings

  2. You should see a link called Advanced Settings

  3. Under the heading Privacy, click Clear Browsing Data

  4. Make sure that the Cached Image and Files checkbox is selected and click Clear Browsing Data

Clearing your cache in Firefox:

  1. In the browser's main menu go to History and click on Clear Recent History

  2. Under the time range select box, click Everything

  3. Expand the Details section and make sure that Cache is selected

  4. Click the Clear Now button

  1. In the main Mac OS toolbar, click Safari and then choose  Clear History and Website Data

  2. Under the time range select box, click All History
